Psalms 71:1-3 (KJV)

1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

What a prayer of putting our trust in the Lord and asking Him for all these things
Putting our trust in the Lord is a decision which we need to make.
Putting our trust is the Lord needs to be a continuous decision one that we stick to no matter what.
We can then be fully assured that the Lord is our strong refuge/rock/fortress to where we can flee and remain. There in Him (our protective shelter) we won’t be put to shame, we will be delivered, we will escape from our enemies, the Lord will hear our prayer and saves us.
