The Mission

We are called to be a launching pad to equip and launch people into the great commission given to us all by Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations.

In the beginning of 2015 the LORD gave us the mission of Gathering Together, Growing Together and Going Together. Then in the end of the year He showed us how to go about it. It is by gathering anywhere. That is in homes, in parks, in cafes, at work, …. Anyone is to be welcome and that we can gather anytime that suits everyone. Out of that more of these gatherings were to be established, like lighthouses all over the place. Initially we called the gatherings home church meetings/gatherings but in 2022 we changed it to mission community gatherings.

We are called to:

• Making disciples for Jesus.
  • Helping people to grow in maturity.
  • Helping people to discover their purpose.
  • Equipping people for ministry.

• Support one another to fulfill our purpose.
• Being a witness for Jesus Christ and multiplying Mission Communities.

Now the Mission Communities Network covers Brisbane, Redlands, Beenleigh, Uganda and supports missionaries in the Philippines.

We gather together, grow together and go together on mission for Jesus Christ.

Gather Together:

In Ezekiel 34:11-16 (NKJV) … I myself will search for My sheep and seek them out … I will feed them in good pastures … bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick…

Gathering together is when we come together as the sheep of Jesus Christ, His Church. This is where we celebrate Him, learn from Him by the Holy Spirit, encourage and exhort one another. When we gather, we have: a love feast, celebrate communion, praise and worship, study the Word of God together, encourage one another, have baptisms, plan mission work, share what GOD is doing in our lives and pray together.

Grow Together:

As we gather together, we grow together in Christ, becoming more like Jesus.

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV) … equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry … to a perfect man, the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ… grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ — … causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love …

We encourage active participation in our gatherings. Colossians 3:16 (NKJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

One of the main ways we study the Word of God together is using Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method where the facilitator ask questions to the group about a scripture we read together. The important aspect is not just the knowledge and understanding of the scriptures but applying the Word of God in our daily lives, reflecting more of Jesus Christ in our life.

Go Together:

Sent by Jesus Christ (John 17:18) fulfilling His great commission.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV) (19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

We seek the LORD for mission opportunities and support each other in our calling to do the work of the ministry to fulfil this Great Commission.

Mission Community Network

This is a network of Mission Communities linked through personal relationship. Submitting to one another in humility, being accountable to and supporting each other.

We are a satellite church of Centro Christian Church which also adopted the mission to gather together, grow together and go together,

We also connect with other ministries which have a similar vision and purpose.

Some of the leaders are ordained ministers of the Acts Global Church denomination.

What is a Mission Community?

A Mission Community is a group of people who are deciding or decided to follow Jesus, become more like Him and fulfil the Great Commission He has given to His followers. It is a group of people who committed themself to that and each other.

A Mission Community is to be Christ Centred and people focused to make disciples.
