Psalms 84:4-7 (KJV)

4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

Yesterday we discovered that we are the temple of God. These verses talk about dwelling in the house of God. When we are in fellowship with Him and each other, when we are focused on Him and walk in His ways letting His word guides our steps, there the Lord brings about blessings.
In the Finis Dake commentary it explains that the Valley of Baca is “The valley of weeping making a well of tears. This may refer to Bochim, the place of weeping (Jdg 2:1-5). Those who weep and seek God will be refreshed by rain and pools of spiritual water (Isa 43:2; Isa 44:3; Zec 10:1). ”
From this we can see that following Jesus is not walking on a bed of roses there that there are difficulties, hardship, pain, suffering BUT going through that we are blessed as The Lord refreshes us, gives us strength to endure and in the end we will be with Him for eternity. So despite our circumstances let us always seek to dwell in His house focusing on Jesus Christ, let us always seeking Him, siting at His feet, fellowshipping together as as the body of Christ. For He will give rest for our soul.
