Hebrews 13:20-21 (KJV)
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
God made peace with us (we have been reconciled) through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the great and good shepherd as he said John 10:11 (KJV) I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
He called us to do good works that are pleasing to God and glorify Him.
Guess what, it is Jesus Christ working through us by their blood of the covenant.
He is the one who makes us complete.
He is working in us to please Himself and to glorify Himself through us.
In short, it is all His work and doing, all we need to do is to keep surrendering and stay surrendered to Him walking in the Holy Spirit .
Philippians 1:3-6 (KJV)
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
All the thanks, adoration and glory go to God the Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Psalms 100:4-5 (KJV)
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
