1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Continue reading this psalm discovering some of the innumerable ways the LORD delivers when we cry out to the LORD in our trouble. For example:
• Wandering in the wilderness, thirsty, hungry and a faint soul. He provides a dwelling place, providing food and satisfying the soul.
• Dwelling in darkness, bound in affliction, imprisoned by sin, rebelling against the Word of God being disobedient despising the advise of GOD. Brings us into His glorious light, delivered form death and set free from the bondage of sin.
• And many more wonderful things are listed here. Make your own list.
How does He deliver. One way He does it is by:
He sending His word bringing healing and deliverance.
Therefore the Psalm keeps repeating after each of His works:
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Therefore let us turn to Him, cry out to Him, come to Him with thanksgiving, walk in His ways, exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, And praise Him in the company of the elders. For His mercy endures forever!
