“Psalms 136:1-9 (KJV)
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
The LORD GOD, alone, created all things.
Therefore let us give thanks to the LORD.
His mercy endures forever.
Therefore let us give thanks to the LORD.
He never changes and we can trust in Him 100%, no matter what.
Through Him we can patiently endure whatever comes our way.
“Revelation 14:12 (KJV) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
We are to keep God’s commandments and remain faithful to Him.
To do this we will need patient endurance which is a fruit from the Holy Spirit (long suffering) “Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
We need that patience because Jesus was hated and therefore we will be hated resulting in persecution from the devil and the world.
“John 15:18-19 (KJV)
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
In the end we do not fight against flesh and blood
“Ephesians 6:10-12 (KJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Let us keep His commandments.
What are His commandments
John 15:12 (KJV) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:17 (KJV) These things I command you, that ye love one another.
Because GOD loves us we can love Him and because we love Him we can love each other.
“1 John 4:17-21 (KJV)
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.”
Therefore let us give thanks to GOD for Him mercy always, demonstrating our love to Him by loving each other the way Jesus Christ loved us and patiently enduring, keeping the faith He has given us.
Let us be thankful and patiently endure – 2024.05.07
