2 Corinthians 7:6 (KJV) Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
GOD is a GOD of comfort. He is the one who comforts those who are cast down and trust in Him. He can and will use people like here, Titus, to bring comfort.
In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV) the Paul writes “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”. We are guaranteed to have tribulation, hardship, etc. in this world but also we are guaranteed that GOD, who is full of mercy, will comfort us in these trials. He does that Himself by His Holy Spirit and also thought other believers. Through the comfort we receive in the tribulations we face we then can be used by GOD to bring comfort to those around us who are in trouble as well. GOD uses our experiences to equip us to help others in need. Therefore when we face difficulties let us look to Jesus Christ “Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”.
