Evil times are ahead – 2024.07.09

Ecclesiastes 9:12 (KJV) For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
We live in a time where evil is increasing exponentially. There will be increasing wars, famines and pestilences all over the world and this is just around the corner. Are we ready and willing to stand for Christ in theses coming times? Do we trust in the LORD or in chariots to save us? “Psalms 20:7 (KJV) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”. If we are wise we foresee the coming evil and prepare “Proverbs 22:3 (KJV) A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”. The most import way we can prepare for the days ahead is to repent and walk in the ways of the LORD always puting our trust in Him. “Proverbs 14:16 (KJV) A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.” If we think that there is time and just keep going procrastinating to turn to the LORD (repenting later) we are foolish and pay the cost. We also should consider to prepare ourself physically to be ready for the evil days. For example, as persecution of the church will increase we need to consider how we communicate, gather, support and help one another.
Let us be wise and prepare however we can but also let us not be discouraged because the LORD GOD we serve is in full control and we do not need to fear. The most important thing for us to do is to put all our trust in Jesus Christ followed by building together our Mission Communities so we are united and not alone when the trouble comes. “Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (KJV) Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
“Hebrews 10:22-25 (KJV) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
