Luke 11:8-9 (KJV)
8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
In Luke 11 Jesus disciples ask Him how to pray. Then the LORD taught them the LORD’s prayer followed by the parable of asking a friend for three loaves at midnight.
This is to show that we are to be persistent to the point of annoyance when asking our Heavenly Father for what we need. In Ephesians 3:12 (NKV) it tell us “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. ”.
Therefore let us be bold and persistent in our prayers when we have a need and not give up till we receive it.
