Ephesians 6:23-24 (KJV)
23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. To the Ephesians written from Rome, by Tychicus.
It is such an amazing think that GOD the Father and the LORD Jesus Christ, the GOD of creation, is so mindful of us that He gives us peace, love, faith and grace.
“Hebrews 2:6 (KJV) But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?”
All this He enables through the finished work on the cross. Becoming the ultimate sacrifice of everyone’s sins. How do we respond to such love? Is it not by loving Him not in pretence but in sincerity? “Luke 7:47 (KJV) Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.”
We need to realise how much we have been forgiven. Let us think about all the times we missed the mark (did not meet GOD’s standard) let alone the sin that we inherited through the seed of Adam. Jesus Christ paid the price for it all; every thought, word and action that missed the mark. Knowing this we can not help but love Jesus Christ sincerely.
Father, thank you for Jesus, thank you Jesus for bleeding thank you Spirit for leading me to the cross. Words can not fully explain or describe what you did. Thank you for your amazing love. We love you LORD.
