Psalms 3:1-8 (KJV)
1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
People say there is no help for us in GOD, He can’t or will not help. What is too hard or inconceivable for people is so easy for the LORD GOD almighty. That is why He is almighty and no one else is. He is willing to help and “Salvation belongs to the LORD”. He is mighty to save! It does not matter who or how many or what is or comes against us the LORD Jesus Christ is well able to deliver us. He is our shield, our protection. He lifts up our Head in adversity. All we need to to is cry our to Him and He will hear our cry.
He is the one who is well able to sustain us through affliction just like He did with David, Job and so many others. 
Let us therefore not fear, no matter what. But instead let us put our trust in Him and cry out to Him “SAVE ME, O MY GOD!”. Never give up. For there is help in GOD.
