Psalms 24:1-4 (KJV)
1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
He is the creator and owner. Everything and everyone belongs to the LORD GOD. This fact stands no matter what we might think. Yes, the world at the moment is ruled by the prince of darkness, the devil “John 16:11 (KJV) Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”. People in the world are under the influence of the devil and in bondage of sin because Adam and Eve submitted themself to him. Because GOD is the creator and owner He judges the devil and all who follow the devil and the just penalty of sin will be given which is being cast into hell “2 Peter 2:4 (KJV) For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” “Luke 12:5 (KJV) But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”
None of us has clean hands and a pure heart as we all have sinned, we all missed the mark and worshiped other things or beings beside GOD. “Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”. But the GOD of creation doesn’t want people to be cast into hell and provided a solution. “John 3:16-21 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
So we see that there is a way of escape from that condemnation. Jesus Christ, GOD the Son, paid the penalty of our sin on the cross and rose from the dead that we might have eternal life. Through faith in Jesus Christ we are saved not only from hell but also have a restored relationship with GOD that was lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed GOD who walked with them. By having made peace with us who became His enemies we now have that hope to be with Him for eternity. He will then start to mend us from our broken ness so we will live godly life’s.
Therefore be encouraged stop any rebellion against our creator and owner by believing in Jesus Christ and turn (repent) from your own and or the devils ways to Jesus Christ and follow His ways. “Acts 3:19 (KJV) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
