Psalms 36:5-10 (KJV)
5 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
The LORD GOD’s love is steadfast, it does not waver, it is not there one day and gone the next. Peoples love fails, people talk about falling in love and out of love. Peoples love is often conditional and circumstantial. GOD’s love is not. It is eternal because GOD is love it dose not appear one day and vanishes the next it is as GOD’s is I Am.
Because of His love He demonstrates His mercy, faithfulness, righteousness, and loving kindness to those who know Him.
His desire is for everyone to know Him and put their trust in Him. Through Jesus Christ, He made the way to restore what was lost in the beginning when humanity rebelled against GOD. He did this because of His immense love “John 3:16-21 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
He gave each one of us a choice because His love does not force anyone to call on Him. Love does not make people do things but love pleads and allows free will. He made the way through Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection on the cross. All we need to do is believe in Jesus, call on Him, put our trust in Him and turn to Him away form our wicked ways.
Let us all bee encouraged today to put our trust in Jesus Christ to receive GOD’s steadfast love, starting the journey to know Him and walking in His way together with everyone who does the same.
