John 6:12-13 (KJV)
12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
The LORD GOD is and does more than enough. He can do anything. Here He provided food for more that 5000 men from only five barley loaves, and two small fishes and there was so much more left over than they started with. Even-tough GOD can create something out of nothing He doesn’t want anything to be wasted and cares for the leftovers.
We should also take this as an example and not be wasteful and be good stewards of what He has given us. Later on it is written: “John 6:39-40 (KJV) And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. [40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”. Imagine Jesus caring and ensuring that nothing of the the leftovers is lost, how much more He cares for each one of us. “Matthew 10:29-31 (KJV) Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. [30] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. [31] Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Here we see the same how much GOD values us in comparison to all of His creation. He doesn’t want anyone that belong to Him to be lost. Such love and care! GOD cares and loves more than anyone else can. He want us all to believe in Him, have everlasting live and be part of the resurrection as He was resurrected.
Jesus Christ made the way for us not to be lost, not to be separated from GOD anymore because of our sin. What Jesus Christ did on the cross made the way for us to be found and restored back to GOD as He initially designed it before men fell in rebellion after creation.
Be encouraged and believe in the good news of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, turn to Him from or wicked ways and but our total trust that He will raise up us at the last day.
