Psalms 46:10 (KJV) Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
When the storm is raging and we are in the midst of it we can do two things. We can panic and despair or we can be still and trust in the LORD GOD Almighty.
There is nothing we can do in our own ability and strength to calm the storm. It is past our control. But there is one think we can do and that is to know that GOD is there with us, that He is in control and put our trust in Him alone. Whatever will happen Jesus Christ will be glorified because we have put our trust in Him. Doing this will help us to be still in the midst of the storm for we know GOD, we know that He is good and He will work it out for good even if we do not understand it now, “Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”.
Let us be still in the midst of trouble, knowing that Jesus Christ is GOD. This is a great testimony of Christ working in us and we can say “Psalms 23:1-6 (KJV) A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
