Waiting for GOD to save – 2024.09.28

Psalms 62:1-2 (KJV)
1 To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Jesus Christ is the rock of our salvation. He defends and gives strength to His people. When we build our life’s firmly on Him, He guarantees that we will not be moved. “Matthew 7:24-27 (KJV) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: [25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”. In life here on earth we will face trials, persecutions and hardships. The LORD wants us to totally trust in Him all the time, even when these things happen. There will be times where we can not do anything but just wait in silence for GOD to intervene and deliver us. We might not know how His salvation will look like for particular circumstances but one thing we know, He will save. His name, Jesus, even means “help of Jehovah“ or “saviour”.
Therefore be encourage to no matter what to keep on trusting and waiting for His salvation poring our heart out before Him who knows and understands and is well able and willing to rescue us in His perfect way. “Psalms 62:5-8 (KJV) My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. [6] He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. [7] In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. [8] Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”
