Psalms 73:25-26 (NKJV)
25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
When there is nothing one can do. When it all becomes impossible. When there is no hope. When there is no way out. When every means has been exhausted. What can we then do? We need to put our trust in the LORD GOD Almighty. For He alone can give us strength in our heart for us to keep on going. When we know that we know we are His and He is our portion we can find strength, rest and peace in Him. Jesus Christ alone is salvation (see https://missioncommunities.network/2024/09/28/waiting-for-gods-to-save-2024-09-28/). He alone is the way (see https://missioncommunities.network/2024/10/03/way-to-heaven-2024-10-03/). He is the only one we have in heaven to save us and be our advocate “1 John 2:1-2 (NKJV) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. [2] And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.”
Therefore be encouraged and let us desire Him more than anything else and let Him be our strength and salvation. Let us put our trust in Him, call on Him, seek Him out and follow Him.
