Psalms 79:8-9 (KJV)
8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23, KJV)”.
No one can save themselves from their sin. We all are totally reliant on GOD’s mercy.
Only GOD can:

• Help the sinner to escape the judgement,
• Deliver the sinner from the bondage of sin,
• Totally remove our sin and
• Forget our iniquities,

He substituted us by Himself to pay the price/penalty for our sin on the cross shedding His blood for us. “Hebrews 9:22b (KJV) … and without shedding of blood is no remission.”, “Hebrews 9:14-15 (KJV) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
Do you want a clean slate, a new beginning, a new life, be at peace with GOD, escape the clutches of sin, become part of GOD’s family, escape hell (the penalty of sin), enter heaven and be in GOD’s presence for eternity?
Then believe in and call on Jesus Christ, the son of GOD, “John 3:16-21 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. [18] “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. [21] But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”” Jesus, Himself said “Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
If you already believe in Jesus Christ be encouraged to not hold onto your sin, not to stay in bondage but to call on Him to get up from our fall and start walking in the light “1 John 1:7-10 (NKJV) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
