Psalms 105:17-19 (KJV)
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
The LORD GOD almighty uses His word to test His people. He gives us a promise through His word, dreams and visions. Then there is a time between what He has promised and when it will be accomplished. This is the testing time. During that time often things seem to go in the opposite direction of what was promised. Things go from bad to worse. Often we don’t clearly see how the outcome will look like, just like Joseph.

Let us be encouraged today and “Hebrews 10:23 (KJV) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”. We can rely on and trust in the LORD who promised through thick or thin. Let us not give up but instead pray and remind the LORD who promised.
