Luke 10:1-3 (KJV)
1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

Jesus Christ appointed people to go and “Luke 10:9 (KJV) And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”.
He asked them not to go alone but always to go with someone else. So they a they can work together and support and complement one another. “Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (KJV) Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. [10] For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. [11] Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? [12] And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

There is one harvest and Jesus Christ is the LORD over it. He is the one who leads and guides His workers. We are to obey and go representing Jesus. Not only that but we are to pray for the LORD to raise up more labourers by making teaching and making disciples. “Matthew 28:19-20 (ASV) Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: [20] teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

We are to be like lambs. Lambs are defenceless. “Matthew 10:16-17 (KJV) Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. [17] But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;” the Bible Knowledge Commentary put it this way “The Lord’s words to the apostles concerning the response to their ministry were not encouraging. Their task would be difficult for they would be like sheep among wolves (cf. Mat 7:15, where false prophets are spoken of as “ferocious wolves”). It would be essential for them to be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves, that is, wise in avoiding danger but harmless in not forcibly opposing the enemy.”
We are not to worry or be offended if we are rejected because that can not be avoided and it is not us who they reject but Jesus Christ Himself. “Luke 10:16 (KJV) He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.”

Therefore be encouraged to pray, go with other brothers or sisters as the LORD directs and not to fear in whatever capacity and expression the LORD Jesus Christ has called you to be His representative and witness. The LORD is the good shepherd leads and He will take care of us His sheep. “Psalms 23:1-6 (KJV) A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
