Psalms 126:1-6 (KJV)
1 A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

When we fall back into the old ways, giving in to the carnal nature, desires of the flesh (our bodies) it is called backsliding. GOD is so merciful and gracious that when we are in that state He calls us back. “Jeremiah 3:22 (KJV) Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.”
The important thing is when He calls not to harden our hearts staying unrepentant (not turning back to GOD and walking in His ways). “Hebrews 4:7 (KJV) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”.

Jesus Christ calls by:

• The conviction of the Holy Spirit,
• His word the bible,
• Situations,
• Things we hear or see and
• Other people.

When the LORD grants us repentance the outcome will be deliverance and freedom. “John 8:36 (KJV) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”. There will be joy, laughter, singing His praises, giving glory to GOD declaring His mighty works.

Therefore be encouraged, to keep your on on Jesus Christ. Not giving in to the desires of the flesh. “Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”. He is the one working in us. “Philippians 1:6-11 (KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: [7] Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. [8] For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. [9] And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; [10] That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; [11] Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.”. And if we miss the mark turn back to Him quickly, walking in the light again – bearing the fruits repentance – not letting ourself be dragged down a spiral to hit rock bottom. “1 John 1:7 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”, “Matthew 3:8 (KJV) Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:” And “1 John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
