Psalms 144:1 (KJV) A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
In Ephesians 6:10-13 (KJV) it says “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. [13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
We are all in a war and have many battles to fight. Because we are in Jesus Christ, He is the one who equips and trains us to be victorious. Even though we see the battles manifest through people and situations we need to know that we are fighting a spiritual war against the devil and demons.
Thank GOD that Jesus Christ is our amour and our strength who teaches us how to war and fight against the principalities, powers, rulers of darkness.
Thank GOD that Jesus Christ has already won the victory. “1 Corinthians 15:54-58 (KJV) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. [55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? [56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. [57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. [58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Therefore be encouraged today that we are not alone in the battle we are facing but that the LORD Jesus Christ, is training us and is Himself our amour, our rock, our strength and will give us the victory. We just need to be steadfast, not being moved and abounding in His work, trusting in and following Jesus Christ. “James 4:7 (KJV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
