2 Corinthians 2:12-13 (KJV)
12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

There are many ways GOD leads us by His Holy Spirit. Here we discover two of them.

1. He opens doors, gives opportunities,… When doors open that relate to the purpose the LORD has given us we need to take the opportunity. When doors close we need to discern if it is GOD or the enemy trying to hinder us. If it is of GOD we move on if it is of the enemy we need to persist. “Revelation 3:8 (KJV) I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.”, “Acts 14:27 (KJV) And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.”
2. He gives us peace. When we are restless we know that something is not right and we need to depart. When we have GOD’s peace we take can take this as His guidance. “Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”, “Colossians 3:15 (KJV) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.”

Therefore be encouraged today that the Jesus Christ is leading and guiding us by the Holy Spirit and that we can rely on Him. Let us look for open doors that are confirmed by the vision the LORD has given us and His peace when we make the decisions and step out in faith.
