Salvation belongs to the LORD – 2025.02.05

Psalms 3:8 (KJV) Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

In the end no one but the LORD GOD can save people. We can call on our ability, friends etc. to help us out of trouble and this might or might not help also in the end it is only temporally and here on earth.

Jesus Christ means Saviour Messiah. He is both LORD and GOD and is well able to save here and not and for eternity. He made the way through His sacrifice on the cross to bring salvation to all who believe. He saves us from eternal condemnation giving us eternal life.
“John 3:15-21 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

Not only does He save our soul but He is also well able to save us in situations here and now that are beyond anyone.
“Acts 12:6-10 (KJV) And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. [7] And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. [8] And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. [9] And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. [10] When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.”

There is nothing to hard for Him.

Therefore be encouraged to keep trusting in Jesus Christ our Saviour no matter what you are facing today. “Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” His salvation might not look like we have envisaged but one thing we know that “Romans 8:28-30 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
