Walk worthy – 2025.02.26

Ephesians 4:1-3 (KJV)

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

GOD knows everything everyone is doing all the time. “Matthew 10:26 (KJV) Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.”.

Whatever we do let out life’s be worthy of His calling. Let us walk in a worthy manner, that will glorify Jesus Christ.

How do we do that? right after verse 1 it starts the explanation, We do this by:

• Lowliness/humility

• Gentleness

• Long suffering

• Bearing with one another

• Loving Anor another

• Keeping the unity of the Holy Spirit

• Making and keeping the peace that binds us

To walk worthy also requires us to follow what is written in Ephesians 4:17-19 (NKJV) “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, [18] having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; [19] who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

Also have a look at the devotion of putting off and on which shows us how to apply this in our life: https://missioncommunities.network/2024/07/04/putting-off-and-putting-on-2024-07-04/

Therefore let us be encouraged today and keep encouraging and helping each other to walk worthy of our calling that Jesus Christ be be glorified and exalted in our life.

“1 Corinthians 10:31-33 (KJV) Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. [32] Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: [33] Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.”
