Job 1:20-22 (KJV)
20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Job was described in Job 1:1 (KJV) as someone who feared GOD and stayed away from evil “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.”.
Yet he lost everthing (read the whole chapter to see what and how this happened).
Despite all that He did not blame GOD but instead worshiped Him like He always did.
Let us be encouraged today to not base our worship to and even our faith in GOD on what is happening to us. Let us instead worship Him from our heart in everthing we do. The LORD GOD almighty is worth of all our praise and worship for who He is. “Psalms 29:1-2 (KJV) A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. [2] Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”
