Job 3:25-26 (KJV)
25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
Job worst nightmare came true. How does the LORD GOD want us to react?
There are many places in the bible that show us the answer to this and one is in Habakkuk 3:17-19 (KJV) “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: [18] Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. [19] The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
It is all a matter of faith in Jesus Christ. “Hebrews 11:1-2 (KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good report.”
Therefore let us be encouraged today to examine our hearts and see if in our darkest hour we would look to Jesus Christ and totally trust Him, worshiping and rejoicing in the GOD of our salvation knowing that our names are written in the book of life.
“Revelation 3:5 (KJV) He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
