Psalms 23:2a (KJV) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: …

Over the last two days we saw that the Word of God is our spiritual nourishment and that the green pastures also convey that we do not need to lack spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Green pastures also convey the idea that the LORD want us to be plated in a local church. This is where we receive and also learn how to nourish ourself with regular daily devotions…. This is also where we can grow discover our purpose and start learning to use our gifts the LORD has given us to be a blessing to others.

“Hebrews 10:22-25 (KJV) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Therefore let us be encouraged today to make it a habit to daily seek the LORD and as much as possible gather together with our bothers and sisters in the local church where the LORD has plated us. It is important not just to be present but to grow by partaking of the green pastures actively participate as we discovered in part 2.

“Psalms 133:1-3 (KJV) A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! [2] It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; [3] As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

“Micah 4:2 (KJV) And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.”
