Psalms 96:3 (KJV) Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
Continuing on from yesterdays when we looked at verse 2 of this psalm we discovered that we are to proclamation His salvation. Here we see that in addition we are called to declare GOD’s glory to the unbelievers and His mighty works/miracles/…, which are wonderful and inexplicable that He did in our lives. It is declaring look what Jesus Christ did in our life!
“Revelation 19:10 (KJV) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
This declaration and proclamation is not only in word but also by our actions. We are like a walking book that people can read that’s witnesses GOD’s glory.
“Psalms 101:2 (KJV) I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.”
We only can declare His glory if we:
“Psalms 100:3 (KJV) Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”
How do we know Him like this?
By believing in Jesus Christ and turning to Him, repeating of our wicked ways.
“John 3:16-21 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
By having faith in Jesus Christ we are born again “John 3:3 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Therefore let us be encouraged today to let our words and action declare GOD’s salvation, glory, majesty, grace, mercy, kindness, love, …. And let us say, “look wah the LORD has done in our life”
