Fear before Him – Psalm 96 Part 10 – 2025.05.23

Psalms 96:7-9 (KJV)
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

In other translations it says tremble before Him. He is the creators of everthing and He sustains us. He is the one who numbers our days. He knows the beginning and the end of everthing and each one of us. The fear of the LORD is a healthy thing.
“Psalms 111:10 (KJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
In that we gain perspective of who GOD is and who we are. We become to be in awe of the LORD GOD Almighty and start to respect, honour, obey, worship, praise and glorify Him.

Therefore let us all be encouraged today to seek the LORD. To cultivate a healthy fear of the LORD knowing that He is love and has good plans for all of us. ”Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”. Let us be His witnesses so that all the earth might know Him the creature of all things. In the end everyone will confess and bow before Him. “Philippians 2:9-11 (KJV) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Let us all come to that point now, getting into a right relationship with Him thorough Jesus Christ here on earth before we stand before His throne in that time to come to face His judgement without being in right standing with GOD (that is not reconciled with GOD, still in our sin).
“John 3:16-21 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
