Luke 2:34 (KJV) And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Jesus Christ is the KING of kings and LORD of lords. He is the Son of GOD, He is GOD the Son and He will reign forever.
“Luke 1:31-33 (KJV) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. [32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: [33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Jesus said about Himself “Luke 20:17-18 (KJV) And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? [18] Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”

Right from the start of the ministry of Jesus Christ, to His crucifixion, during His death, after His resurrection, followed by His ascension, and now while seated on the right had of GOD the Father Jesus Christ is spoken against. This is because the name of Jesus Christ is the only that truely will bring salvation. “Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”, “John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” And the devil with his cohorts of daemons don’t like it.

Therefore be encouraged today if you are spoken against because of Jesus Christ, being his disciple, that you are on the right track.
“John 15:18-25 (KJV) If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. [19] If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. [20] Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. [21] But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. [22] If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. [23] He that hateth me hateth my Father also. [24] If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. [25] But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.”
