Luke 16:13 (KJV) No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
We need to choose between who we serve and no try to play both sides. In the end it will not work. Therefore let us be encouraged today and every day to first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness as we read yesterday. https://missioncommunities.network/2025/06/26/counting-the-cost-continued-2025-06-26/.
Let us choose to follow Jesus Christ and not be deceived by the lure that this world brings. Let us not follow the path of the world but walk in the ways of the LORD. “1 Corinthians 15:33 (KJV) Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”.
“2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
“Hebrews 10:23-25 (KJV) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
