His mercy endures forever – 2025.07.08

Psalms 136:1-9 (KJV)
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Can you imagine the LORD of lords, the KING of kings, the GOD of gods, He who created everything, He who works wonders beyond comprehension all through is infinite wisdom looks at us His creation with enduring mercy.

He does not change His mind about being merciful. Mercy is one of characteristics.
It is only us who choose to avail or reject His mercy. He is the one who calls us to come to Him.
“Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
He is the one who wants to reason with us therefore let us repent.
“Isaiah 1:16-20 (KJV) Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; [17] Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. [18] Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. [19] If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: [20] But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”
He is the one who provided the means.
“John 3:16-21 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

Therefore let us all be encouraged to come to Him and receive His enduring mercy.
“Psalms 136:26 (KJV) O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
