Psalms 144:1-2 (KJV)

1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

Let us be encouraged today that in the Kingdom of God things are different. We fight not as in the world. “Psalms 20:7 (KJV) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” “Zechariah 4:6 (KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”.

It all starts and ends with trusting in the LORD and not ourself to fight the battle.

As we walk in Jesus Christ He is the one training us to trust in Him when we face difficulties, obstacles, battles, ….. We learn to let go and let the LORD GOD Almighty do His work.

It is the LORD fighting for us. “1 Samuel 17:45-47 (KJV) Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. [46] This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. [47] And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.”

He is the one who will win the fight. “Psalms 24:8 (KJV) Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.”

He will save and deliver, us His people, so we can rejoice in Him alone. “Psalms 144:10-11 (KJV) It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword. [11] Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:”

“Psalms 144:15 (KJV) Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.”
