Proverbs 21:25-26 (KJV)
25 The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
26 He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

Let us be encouraged today to do our best in whatever we are tasked. “Colossians 3:22-24 (KJV) Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: [23] And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; [24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”

Work is something the LORD GOD established right in the beginning (taking care of the garden and then with the curse because of sin work became hard). Let us not drink back from hard work and working hard. When we do this GOD will reward us if not there will be consequences as well.
“Proverbs 21:17 (KJV) He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.”
“Proverbs 22:29 (KJV) Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
