Psalms 40:1-2 (KJV)
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
Let us be encouraged to day to wait patiently for the LORD. When we call on Him, we pray, we cast our burdens on Him, we trust in Him, our hope and faith is in Him. Then we stay in that attitude with patience waiting for Him to answer in the LORD’s perfect time and way. While waiting the LORD uses this times for us to grow: in character, to make us stronger, in perseverance, and the fruit of the Spirit. “Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”.
And then He comes with His great deliverance bringing us out of the horrible pit….. Praise to Jesus Christ our Redeemer.
