Psalms 84:5 (KJV) Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Here on earth we are pilgrims “1 Peter 2:11 (KJV) Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;”. Our destination is heaven. When our heart is set on Jesus Christ and heaven and not on this world then we will desire and do what is pleasing to the LORD and not get entangled in the sins of this world.

Let us be encouraged today set our heart on Jesus Christ and what the LORD has promised us in heaven.
“John 14:1-4 (KJV) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. [4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”
He will be our strength, help, protection here to be able to overcome and walk in our pilgrimage to heaven. “Psalms 84:10-12 (KJV) For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. [11] For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. [12] O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.”
