From the inside out – 2025.11.25

Matthew 23:26 (KJV) Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

In the Kingdom of God change comes from the inside in our hearts and then becomes evident on the outside evident by our actions.
Therefore let us be encouraged today that when we hear the Word of God not to harden our hearts. “Hebrews 3:15 (KJV) While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.”.
Instead we are to keep them soft to let the Word of God be implanted in it and grow to then bear fruit. “James 1:21 (KJV) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”.
When the Word of God is received faith comes and our desire changes to want to have the Word of God become evident in our life – we want to obey it. From that heart change the LORD Himself by the Holy Spirit will either instantly or progressive change us and our actions start to align with how GOD wants us to act. This is called sanctification.

Therefore let us be encouraged to ensure our heart is soft, teachable and have child like faith. Let us cooperate with the Holy Spirit in the process of sanctification. Then over time we will see how the LORD changes us. We will then see that more and more our attitudes and actions reflect the way Jesus Christ wants us to be. This, from the inside out process (sanctification) – the cleaning of our cup on the inside, is a life long process for each one of us. Also know this that if we slip up let us not be discouraged but ask the LORD to forgive us and help us overcome our sin.
“1 John 1:7-10 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”.
