Psalms 105:1-5 (KJV)
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Over the next few devotions we will look at various actions the LORD wants us to do as outlined in these verses.
The LORD wants us to let everyone what He did in our and other people life.
The rest of this Psalm goes through recollecting/remembering some of the wonderful things the LORD did so we can see examples of how He rescued those who called on the name of the LORD. We also can sing and talk about them, declaring look what the LORD has done.
Therefore let us be encouraged to make known His wondrous works by singing about them and or talking about them to those around us, who are willing to listen.
“Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
“1 Peter 3:15 (KJV) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”
Let us pray. Thank you Father for what you have done in our life and help us to share this to those around us in Jesus Name.
