Swift repentance and obedience – 2026.01.06

Psalms 119:59-60 (KJV)
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

Let us be encouraged to examine ourselves, to think what we are doing in the light of GOD. To compare this with what the LORD tells us in His word and the Holy Spirit in our conscience. Then, when we discover that what we are doing is not pleasing to the LORD, we need to rectify it, repent, and start doing things His way.

Here the psalmist wires that he made haste to change his ways and obey the LORD. Therefore let us not delay in repenting putting it off for a while but do it swiftly.

Let us pray. Father in the name of Jesus Christ just like David prayed we pray now:
“Psalms 139:23-24 (KJV) Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: [24] And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Amen
