1 Samuel 12:20-25 (KJV)
20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;
21 And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.
23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
25 But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.

The LORD is so gracious and full of mercy that even here as Israel has done wickedly He does not discard them but encourages them to repent, follow and server Jesus Christ with all their heart. If they do not turn (repent) and continue in that wickedness then judgment will await them. He does not want His people to perish but to have a life with Him.

Therefore let us all be encouraged to keep turning from our sins and not to turn away from the LORD.
Let us keep:

• loving Him,
• fearing Him,
• following Him,
• serving Him and
• obeying Him.

He is the one who has saved us by His great sacrifice on the cross.
“Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Let us pray, Father we come to you in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ. Help us to keep following Him even if we stumble and let this not be a hinderance of our relationship with You. Forgive us our sins and help us to turn away from the and keep following and serving you. We dedicate our life to You. Have Your way in us. Let Your will be done in our life and be glorified. Thank you LORD.

“2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
