Psalms 119:87 (KJV) They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
There are times when we find ourself at the end, even death, because of other peoples mal-intent. Let us be encouraged today to not forsake the LORD and to keep obeying His word. We know that in the end He will justify us.
“Psalms 23:5 (KJV) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
One thing we can do while the pressure us on to encourage ourself in the LORD by remembering what the LORD has done. “Psalms 119:95 (KJV) The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.”
“Psalms 119:157 (KJV) Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.”
Let us pray. Father we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Help us to stick to following You no matter what. Help us to obey Your word even when our enemies try to stop us. Help us to remember the great things You already have done in our life and in other people’s life when the pressure is on. Thank you LORD that You are our good Shepard and You will justify Your people and that You will be glorified.
“Philippians 2:9-11 (KJV) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
