Psalms 126:5-6 (KJV)

5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

There are times when we put so much effort into something that we know GOD wants us to do but nothing happens. This is the time when we are sowing in tears. We become frustrated, discouraged, and despair. Yet we continue to sow, keep going and doing what the LORD has asked us to do. “Hebrews 10:23 (KJV) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”

This is sowing in hope, having faith like that of Abraham as it says in Romans 4:18-25 (KJV) about Him and us: “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. [19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: [20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; [21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. [22] And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. [23] Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; [24] But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; [25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”.

Therefore let us be encouraged to continue to sow in hope fixing our eyes on Jesus Christ. Fro we know the joy of the harvest, the outcome, You promised will come.

Let us pray. Father, we thank You for the promises You have given us through Jesus Christ. We believe that You will do as You have promised. Help us to keep our eyes on You and keep in being faithful and persevere in what you have asked us to do. We believe with 100 percent certainty that what you have promised You will will do. In the name of our LORD and SAVIOUR Jesus Christ.
