Acts 20:22-27 (KJV)
22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Paul explained that the did not hold anything back when sharing then gospel and teaching the Word of God but shared everything the LORD has taught him so that He will not have the blood of people on his hand if they perish for lack of knowledge. “Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

He knew that trouble awaited him in Jerusalem but kept his course knowing the will of GOD for his life.

Let us be encouraged to:

• To not be discouraged doing GOD’s will even if we know that there be trouble and difficulty facing us. Let us be obedient to what GOD called us to do not counting our life dear to ourself.
• Share the whole counsel of of GOD. We are as we saw yesterday to not water down the Gosple but share it in completion. Not only that but when we share and teach the Word of God we are to not leave anything out the LORD has sown us. We are not to make it more palatable but we are to keep it simple and easy to understand so that no one will miss out.

Let us pray. Father in the name of Jesus help us to be more like Jesus Christ and Paul and not be discouraged in doing your will even if it costs us out life. We know that a great reward if waiting for us in heaven if we do not give up.
As part of this help us to share the whole counsel you have given us as we make disciples and teach them to obey your words.
