Psalms 143:8 (KJV) Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Let us be encouraged to seek the LORD first thing in the morning. When we read His word, the bible, and pray we are putting ourself in a position to hear His lovingkindness. We do this because we trust in Him giving Him the 1st priority in our day. When we do this we can be assured that we will be a blessing to those around us and that He will give us the wisdom we need for the day. We ask Him to lead us and keep us from sin. “Psalms 119:133 (KJV) Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.”

In our daily time with Him, let us ask Him to teach us the way we should walk, that is what we should do today and with our life, desiring to obey the LORD, who saved us and gave us eternal life with Him.
“Psalms 143:10 (KJV) Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”

Let us pray. Father we come to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour. Help us to put you first every day, for we know that you will then give us wisdom, order our steps and we will be a blessing and that you will bless those around us. Teach us to do your will and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Be glorified in our life. All honour and glory to you. Amen
