2 Samuel 1:27 (KJV) How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!

There are those who are mighty from the worlds perspective. They are strong, tall, accomplished, wealthy, popular, powerful, smart, knowledgeable and more in war. In the end they will fall as history has shown repeatedly. This saying/lamentation came from David because of the death of Saul and Jonathan his son in their last battle. “2 Samuel 1:17 (KJV) And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:”.

Let us be encouraged today that in the Kingdom of God things are accomplished not by might or power as in the world but by the Holy Spirit. “Zechariah 4:6 (KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”.
GOD has chosen the weak and foolish things (according to the earthly perspective) to confound that which is considered mighty and powerful here on earth so that not peoples accomplishments be glorified but that all glory goes to GOD who created everything and everyone.
“1 Corinthians 1:25-31 (KJV) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. [26] For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: [27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; [28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: [29] That no flesh should glory in his presence. [30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: [31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.”

Therefore Let us choose to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh as the world does. “Galatians 5:16 (KJV) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

Let us pray. Father we bless you and than you. Your wisdom is so Mauch greater than the wisdom of this world. The mighty will fall and their tools of accomplishment will perish. Only yo are eternal. We pray that we come to you like little children in faith and humble ourself under your might hand. We pray that yo be gloried in our life and help us to walk always in the Spirit by crucifying our flesh every day, listening and obeying you.
