Revelation 22:7 (KJV) Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Revelation 22:12 (KJV) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Revelation 22:20 (KJV) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

We have now provided links to an online bible for each quote so you can refer to a version which you prefer or can look at multiple version. The link is to the NLT as it provides easy reading for people not familiar with the bible:

Three times in the same chapter Jesus Christ mentions that He is coming quickly. That means something and is very important to know. He wants His people to always be awaiting Him to come at any moment.

The coming His church is expecting is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV) “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. [18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.“

It is when Jesus Christ will not set foot here on earth but when He will take His people to heaven. This is called the rapture.

(The other coming is when Jesus Christ will come on a white horse followed by His armies and the beast with the kings of the earth make war with Him as described in Revelations 19.)

Therefore be encouraged to be expectant of His return and live our life to always glorify Jesus Christ. Always doing our best and giving glory to GOD in our vocation and daily activities. “1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”. https://bible.com/bible/116/1co.6.20.NLT

This we do not in our own strength but through the grace given to us by Jesus Christ.
“Revelation 22:21 (KJV) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” https://bible.com/bible/116/rev.22.21.NLT

Let us pray. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, give me the desire and grace to always glorify Jesus Christ in my life weather it be like: working, being a blessing to others, eating, relating with people, sharing about you, and so much more. Help me to always be expectant of your return. Amen
