This is a good question as we celebrate Easter. The simple answer is NO ONE only GOD can do this for anyone. The religious leaders had it right this time “Mark 2:7 (KJV) Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?” https://bible.com/bible/116/mrk.2.7. Only GOD can forgive sin. What they did not realise was that Jesus Christ is GOD the Son.
“Mark 2:8-12 (KJV) And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? [9] Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? [10] But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) [11] I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. [12] And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.” https://bible.com/bible/116/mrk.2.8-12

The other thing is, that there is no person from the seed of men who has not sinned. “Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.3.23

This is a bleak picture. We all are guilty and polluted and can’t get rid of sin ourself.

Therefore be encouraged and know that GOD made the way for us to be made clean.
This is through faith in Jesus Christ.

“John 3:16-18 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.3.16-18
So let us believe in Jesus Christ, repent (turn away from our sins turn away from our ways and turn towards Jesus Christ and start walking in His ways) and follow Him.
“1 John 1:7-10 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let us pray. Father in the name of Jesus Christ please forgive me of my sins. Help me not to go after them any more but instead to be obedient to you by walking in what Jesus Christ taught while here on earth. Forgive me for not being in the centre and throne of my life. I enthrone You, Jesus, now. Have Your way, teach me Your ways, help me to walk in them. Amen.
