Psalms 23:5 (KJV) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Our LORD Jesus Christ will not only fill our cup with what we need but He will provide more than enough so that we might share it with others. That generosity will make us a channel for GOD’s blessing to others.
“Luke 6:38 (KJV) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
Our needs and His gifts are spiritual, emotional, and physical. Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit, gives us a variety of gifts that He then wants us to use to minister to others. That’s why our cup overflows and is not just full.
“John 4:14 (KJV) But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Therefore let us be encouraged today to let the LORD overflow our cub to be a blessing to those around us.
“Matthew 10:8 (NKJV) Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.“
