Psalms 23:6 (KJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
How can goodness and mercy follow us?
Because GOD’s goodness and mercy endure forever they are steadfast and never changing. They can be relied upon.
“1 Chronicles 16:34 (KJV) O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”
We can see from the whole Psalms 23 that because of Jesus Christ being the good shepherd He takes care of His sheep uninterrupted. He is always there, if we know it or we do not feel His presence. His loyal love goes with us everywhere. It is there through all of our life. God’s blessings on us, His people, remains no matter what our circumstances are.
Let us be encouraged today and be fully assured that the result of God’s merciful dealings with us gives our mind the assurance that Jesus Christ will always be our shepherd and that He would never leave us to want.
His Goodness and mercy will follow us always, every day of our life. In the dark days, when everything goes wrong, as well as in the bright days, when everything goes right. We can be fully assured that His goodness supplies our needs, and mercy blots out our sins. Let us keep trusting Him Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour.
“Psalms 103:2-5 (KJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [3] Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; [4] Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; [5] Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
“Psalms 31:19 (KJV) Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”
